On May 7, 2021, the Moore County Appraisal District mailed Notices of Appraised Value. The incorrect protest deadline was printed on that notice. State law mandates that the deadline is the 30th day after the date of the notice. MCAD does not have the legal authority to extend the 30-day protest deadline. Due to this error, on May 17th, 2021, we are sending a Corrected Notice of Appraised Value for 2021. The new deadline to protest to the Moore County ARB is June 16, 2021.
